What do I need to bring?

Yourself, swimwear, change of clothes if you want to freshen up or dress to impress!  Included in the charter fee is all your food, drink, snacks, towels, robes, toiletries etc. Even on a sunny day it can be breezy underway so don’t forget to pop something warm in your bag! 

What happens if THE weather is bad?

Unfortunately, the english weather is very unpredictable.  Whilst we will do our best to get you off the dock, the sea state may not permit this.  In this event, we will only be able to offer a dockside experience or re schedule when the weather clears.

What is a dockside experience?

When the sea state renders it impossible for us to take the boat off the dock, a dockside experience takes place.  This means that you get the same experience on the boat with the same level of service but without it moving off the dock.  Some water sports can still take place. 

What food can I expect?

All menus are tailored to you and your party at the time of booking.  Breakfast and brunch normally consists of freshly baked pastries and rolls, bacon, sausages, eggs and fresh fruit.  A 2 course lunch is included and 3 courses for dinner.  Sample menus for lunch and dinner are provided for selection at the point of booking.  Afternoon Tea is full of wonderful cakes, scones and sandwiches.

What drinks can I expect?

Tell us your favourite tipple and we will make sure that its onboard.  Soft drinks, wine and bubbles are always stocked onboard.

What water sports are included?

Lunasea is equipped with a rib for a fun fast run through the waves.  There are paddle boards, seabobs (by special arrangement), snorkelling kit, and a floating chairs on which to relax.

Can we change our itinerary?

Yes, depending on weather and sea conditions. When you arrive, the primary guest and Captain will discuss the current passage plan and changes can be agreed at that time.

What if I can’t find my dream package?

If none of our packages match up with your dream charter, don’t hesitate to get in touch with us and we’ll do all we can to make that dream come true!

What happens once I’ve booked?

Firstly, thank you for booking with Above Decks.  Once we receive your booking we will send you;
  • confirmation of your charter, type, date, time.
  • a copy of our T’s & C’s to sign
  • preference sheets for you and your guests so that we can cater for your requirements.
  • Joining instructions for the day.
